Instructional Technology Advisory Committee

Mission and Purpose

The purpose of the Instructional Technology Committee (the ""Committee"") is to provide a consistent approach and review process in evaluating and making recommendations about the instructional technology that can/should be supported by Austin Community College (the “College”). Review instructional technology requests from faculty and staff, and make recommendations on adoption, funding, support and sustainability. Provide recommendations to sunset technology that has become obsolete or no longer meets the needs of the College. Monitor and evaluate existing and future trends in technology that may affect the College’s strategic plans. Review requests for and make recommendations on awarding instructional technology grants. Provide an annual report to College administrators as a recap of the Committee’s efforts throughout the year.
