Fall meeting minutes were approved by electronic vote October 22, 2012.

Informatinal: presenter: Renee Cornett, department Chair
Program Outcomes:
Results received to date of the graduating class of 2012 regarding their year
one employment survey were shared with attendees. Several graduates
have yet to secure permanent employment and continue to serve in temp-
orary clinical roles.
Prescripton Drug Monitoring Program:
The Department Chair, in her role on the State Board of Dental
Examiners, was provided with a PowerPoint presentation on the
Prescription Drug Monitoring Program, and was given permission
to share the information.
Emerging Technollgies:
The Department Chair asked for recommendations regarding emerging tech-
nologies to consider for implementation into the Program. No new areas were
mentioned; digital imaging is becoming more of the norm.

Curriculum Change:
The curriculum change approved at the fall Advisory Committee meeting was approved by the College curriculum Committee on 3/22/13. Pharmacology
content will be presented via DHYG 1235 Pharmacology for the Dental Hygienist
beginning Spring 2014.
