Regarding an update on the inclusion of the new Manor district, and on in- and out-of-district tuition costs. ACC/High School Pact Update-- Arts/Sciences-students can receive free tuition on their classes taken during high school and receive college credit. (Some classes are not tuition free.) Tech. Preparation program students decide, in high school, on the degree plan to pursue and those classes taken will count towards that plan. Marketing has now completed the new Workforce program brochures and they are now available on all ACC campuses and some public locations. The new Eastview Campus opens in January of 1999 in east Austin and will represent a Workforce campus. A walk-through is scheduled for Friday, 11/20. Human services will move to that location in the second phase.

The Human Services/Addictions Counseling group discussed the fact that the license requirements for Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors (LCDC) would probably not change in the near future. They suggested that we meet with the Texas Commission on Drug and Alcohol Abuse (TCADA) and educate staff about the benefits of the ACC program over new non-credit training programs that meet TCADA\'s minimum standards only.

The following HSR Advisory Committee Term selections were made: Chuck Roper-2 years; David Pena-3 years; Linda Epps-4 years; Michal Lord-2 years; Steve Hamman-2 years; Deanna King-4 years; Amy Collins-2 years; Vicki Totten-3 years; Debra Woodruff-2 years. Those not present were randomly assigned terms to serve: Ellen Conner-4 years; Diane McDaniel Rhodes-3 years; Kippa Smith-3 years.
