1. Discussion on degree overrides and corrections (Degree Audit Office)
Decrease number of course substitutions, increase number of graduates presentation provided by Jacob Williamson. Alexander Misthos recommended further discussion at a later meeting. Brandon Whatley recommended forming a workgroup.
Tomi Welch motioned to approve forming a workgroup; seconded by Ron John. Tomi recommended involving committee members and instructional non-committee members, including Misty Rasmussen and Jacob Williamson. Tomi also agreed to chair the new workgroup. She will provide a preliminary report next month.
2. Discussion on formalizing the creation/maintenance process for Continuing Education (CE) courses
Tomi Welch motioned to approve C&P Committee approval for all CE Level 1 Certificates, Occupational Skills Awards, and WECM courses; seconded by Ron Johns Approved.
3. Discussion on forming a Curriculum and Programs Committee Manual Update Subcommittee

Jorge Lynch also inquired about the status of updating the suspended FOS Fine Arts – Studio Art AA degree so it will satisfy the Core Curriculum requirements (missing component area 080 - Social and Behavioral Sciences course). Gaye Lynn Scott will email a reminder to Dean Tom Nevill and Department Chair Roberta Weston to submit a proposed award plan as soon as possible.
