Enrollment is down for the college. For credit students are down 10.8%. New to ACC is down 18.1%. High School programs are down 33%. Traditional new to ACC students are down 9.4%. Many factors come into play for numbers to be where they are today. ACC has now caught up with the national trend of lower overall enrollment. Other colleges lost students while we gained or stayed flat over the last year. ACC is now down and evened out with other college enrollment trends impacted by the pandemic. High School programs and recruitment are struggling to host in person events. High Schools did not even allow visitors over the past year and a half. Many students stating money reasons for not attending college anywhere. Also, many students taking a gap year to see how pandemic ends. Other colleges have eliminated test score requirements and eased enrollment paperwork needs. Graduation rates are up to 22.3%. The higher number of people graduating and leaving the college in the 4 1/2 years has also impacted enrollment numbers. More students graduating while less are enrolling. Lack of in person learning is also impacting enrollment. Students are looking elsewhere to attend in person courses. Leadership is predicting 2 years for enrollment to make up gains.

Melissa Curtis
Minutes
Riverbat Flight Path professional development has been offered for the college over the past 2 months. 80 people attended the sessions. This presentation covers the new onboarding process for students within Salesforce. Is customer oriented. Offers a one front door model for all students to enter. Virtual support from the Student Help Desk is supporting the new application system. No need for current or previous students to re-apply in Salesforce. Their information will still be available in the new system. There is a separate button for current and previous students to click for registration assistance. Very pleased to see the Salesforce planning to come to life and launch. Thanks to John Wilsonmay for supporting our teams on the buildout, launch, and maintenance of the new onboarding system in Salesforce.
