The Ellucian Self-Service webapi log has revealed corrupt data in the ROOMS Unidata file. There are 167 ROOMS records that were created where they are not attached to BUILDINGS and have no data in them (except for the add/change date/operator fields). The Committee recommended getting with the department that created the records and find out (a) if these rooms really exist, and (b) why they are creating these records in the way they are doing it. (Note: As of October 30, there has been no response, and IT is planning to delete these records.)

COURSE.TYPE is being used more and more frequently as a device for identifying students involved in new program initiatives. Accelerated Programmer Training (APT) was an example cited where APT was associated with specific course sections. This solution was working for reporting that was being performed, but a subsequent request was made to remove APT as a COURSE.TYPE. (Note: As of October 30, there have, as yet, been no complaints regarding inaccuracy of APT reports.)
