Please sign-up for the daily registration report if you are not already receiving it. It is a great internal tool for teams to utilize. Contact Noko Wilson or Connie Wall to join the email group. Headcount is down ~2% for the summer. Contact hours are up ~3% for summer. New to ACC enrollment is down overall by 14%. High School new down 2.4% and traditional new down 23.2%. Competing now with 4 year institutions that have mastered the online instructional platform. Before, students would seek summer online courses at ACC and transfer in, but now they are not as much. Transfers in are down 32%. Fall returning student registration starts May 17. Fall new student registration starts June 1. Self-serve is currently open and ready to for students to start planning fall courses.

Tabled until next meeting. Overall report presented to the Board at last meeting looked great with goals met and exceeded.

All calendars have been updated and past calendars are available for reference. Visit austincc.edu/students/calendars/academic-calendar. Discussed various stratified registration plans. Reviewed past plans used since 2011. History showed that the number of hours a student had completed would determine where in line they would be assigned to register. In 2014 it started with 60+ and in 2015 it started with 30+. Stratifying the enrollees was used to avoid the system crashing at 12:01am on registration opening day. Suggestions were also made to stratify the high school populations by grade level (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior).

The recruiting new website will be up and running soon. Working out some final details and reference links to services and admissions. The site covers virtual campus tours, events, request a recruiter, meet your recruiter, explore ACC programs. Suggestion made to add an RB request link. Admissions website is following the 3 step process of enrolling at ACC. 1. Prepare 2. Apply 3. Register/Pay Request to add ESOL to page for reference.

Has been launched and is now servicing all programs and credit applications. Actual presentation was tabled for time reasons.

Planning to have a required 1.5 hour orientation for new to ACC students. By the end of the orientation, the student will be enrolled in at least 2 courses. Two orientation versions will be offered. 1. Phase I - synchronous option will be for students with <12 hours. It will be offered Monday - Thursday and Saturday. Mainly for for GED , High School Graduates, and students with <12 hours. 2. Lite Phase - asynchronous and for those already in college, college graduates, and transfers.
