● There is a committee. Open to input from CAC. But haven’t heard anything ○Will: when people arrive by car at RRC there’s no indication of the building # or where to go. ○Building markings are problematic at many campuses

● Linnea gave an overview of InnovATEBIO ○ Purpose: to support diversity in BioTech and high tech ● Highlighted CAST.org ○ CAST GRANT Training initiative as part of a grant ○ Will help to create a 5-year roadmap to improve accessibility

●What is the policy for online materials? It Affects CE students who register right before the course begins and need accessible materials. If the materials are not accessible, they will have to wait until they can be converted. Michelle suggested student workers helping remediate docs, become Accessibility Techs Response: All instructional materials must be accessible. ● Noted that instructors do not have ADA training. Distance Ed is its own department but works with TLED Issue of Continuing Ed, Adult Ed instructors not
