Add NEW Microcredentials – six total badges approved by the ACC Badging Committee, effective Spring 2023 Data Management Intro to Computers and Internet Search Presentation Software Spreadsheets Web Builder Word Processing Linda and Karina presented. Linda provided some background; aligns with QEP. Faculty will be the digital navigators. Linda is working with Misty on faculty qualification requirements. Microcredential is a project based learning credential. Susy mentioned that they are working with Marketing so the QEP and Manufacturing related badges can be piloted in March. Linda mentioned that the subcommittee is working on the data and reporting aspects, as stipulated in the full QEP report. Data will be housed in the Suitable software platform. Discussion and refinement of the process will be ongoing. Gaye Lynn mentioned that this can be a standing Curriculum and Programs Committee agenda item for the time being. Brandon Whatley motioned to approve; seconded by Ron Johns. Approved new microcredentials proposals as a model and approved the six new badges to be implemented spring 2023.
