ACC offer level one non structural and level one refinishing
Austin I-CAR to offer payment for students completing degree for I-CAR points.

Coordinating Board capping AAS hours to 60

different possibilities for the new change of max required for AAS degree to 60.
Could have two separate degrees, not enough classes for refinishing.
Could have a body repair degree with new classes added, and level one cert for refinishing. Students would take cert instead of degree, because of lower hours.
Best scenario is reduce current degree to 60 by taking out ABDR 2357, ABDR 1311,ABDR 2355 and COSC 1301.
This will allow us to keep the shop courses and remove the office courses.
Have meeting on 3/28/14 with the other dept chairs to discuss the options.
Will call special meeting to review outcome and finalize the new AAS degree and Certificates.
