Wayfinding- Ambiguity especially at HLC in regard to pick-up and
drop off areas for Austin Metro accessible transportation
services, as well as rideshare services.
Need defined pickup and drop-off points for destinations around
the campus, that either has a distinct address or is published
as a pick-up drop-off destination consistent with published maps,
Google maps, campus information, and signage/”you are
here” map kiosks.

Why are we here
Primary Purpose: Serve as a forum for ACC as a whole to discuss
accessibility issues. Every part of the college must be accessible.
Legal backbone: ADAAA 2010, Section 504, 508 of the Rehab act of
1979.
This committee spends much of its time on issues of this nature:
the wide variety of issues related to continually and progressively
improving access to all areas of the college. Identifying areas that
can be more accessible, and addressing those issues with
