Terry Bazan volunteered to work on the manual update.

Changing program name to Exercise Science Revise Awards Personal Fitness Trainer AAS – renamed Exercise Science AAS; deleted KINE 1238, KINE 1108; added MRKG 1311; added footnote 4 Personal Fitness Trainer Level 1 Certificate – added OR options BIOL 2401 and BIOL 1322; deleted KINE 1238; added MRKG 1311; move BIOL 1322 and BIOL 1323 to semester 1. Fitness Specialist Level I Certificate – added OR options BIOL 2401 and BIOL 1322; removed KINE 1238 Cathy Angell moved to accept program name change and changes to awards with caveat that Biology courses be listed as BIOL 1322 OR BIOL 1323 in semester III, second by Jonathan Buckstead. Approved. Committee standard will list ‘or’ courses in the body of the award plan to minimize footnote entries. Example: BIOL 1322 or BIOL 1323.

Cathy Angell moved acceptance of new courses NCBM 0185, NCBM 0214, NCBM 0270 and modification NCBM 0222; second by Jorge Lynch. Approved. All NCBM course descriptions will include “This course is not for college-level credit” in the course descriptions.
