1. Designs and monitors the implementation of consistent college credit enrollment and registration procedures. 2. Works with the Vice Chancellor, Student Affairs to: Develop & monitor new student enrollment procedures Review & recommend college credit registration procedures Review and recommend college credit registration and payment dates Recommend student communication practices 3. Seeks to continually improve the enrollment and registration process to provide efficient and welcoming service to students and to support the college’s strategic enrollment plan. Committee recommendations are forwarded to the Academic & Student Affairs Council. The committee is currency waiting on representative assignments for some associations. Once those recommendations are made the website will be updated to reflect the changes.

Linda reviewed some of the data shown on the daily registration report. This report gives a great overview of where the teams are currently at with registration initiatives. Those who would like to receive the daily registration report can inform Linda and she will work on adding them to the list.

Financial Aid There has been an increase in FA recipients and awards, but there has been a decrease in Pell Grant recipients. FA outreach has been a high priority. They are building their outreach team and have been making connections with non-profit organizations. The department recently purchased Campus Communicator for award letters (interactive award letters). Looking into texting the student when they have been awarded. New FAFSA application for FY24. Non-citizen refugee students should be referred to the FA office to determine if they qualify for FA assistance. Continuing Education The department and main operations have been moved to NRG BLDG 4000 (old bookstore area.) Enrollment has gone up and seems to be going steady. Adult Education Student demand is very high. They had to close their ESOL program application within 2 hours of opening. They are looking into their process to see what can be changed to accommodate more students. They are in need of more courses but do not have enough professors. Advising They have reimagined Advising Caseload Management. All students should now have an assigned advisor. Assigned advisors may be found on My ACC. For students who do not have an assigned advisor, they should be directed to the online advising team. https://www.austincc.edu/students/advising/areas-of-study-advising/online-advising Update: The Registration Start Dates and Beginning of Semester Payment Deadlines document in the Google drive and linked here has been updated to reflect the January 2 college closed date, which was changed after the payment dates were originally set. The Academic Calendar is correct with the January 3 start date for same day pay.

Next Meeting and Future Agenda Items December 6, 2022 - Linda has added a Google Doc agenda to the Dec 6th meeting calendar invite. The agenda will be open for everyone to add items that they want to discuss. Committee members should add their names to the items they are suggesting. Linda will continue to add the documents to the shared Google folder. Additional sub-committees are being formed to look into possible changes to the payment deadlines and the registration periods. Dr. Kinney will be sending information and assignments out to those who are selected for this task work. Dates and timeline are TBA. Adjourn: 2:40pm
