TJ talked about the shut down of Classes starting March 13 2020. How students didn't return until late summer to make up class for hands on only. All lecture content was moved to online only including all tests quizzes study ect. During the shut down classes were transformed to hybrid courses or hybrid like. The only course that is truly a hybrid course is ABDR 1301 Autobody Repair & Repainting. One week the students do a Zoom with the instructor and the next the students are in person for lab. The other courses have all the lecture content online through self study and Zoom meetings, the lab time is still in person and hands on. TJ mentioned the safety protocols that have been taken and is something that is constantly changing. Jo mentioned how students did really well with just the lab time at the shop. They accomplished more and the time was better used due to the concentration.
