Review Committee Membership and Functions
1. Designs and monitors the implementation of consistent college credit enrollment and registration procedures.
2. Works with the Vice Chancellor, Student Affairs to:
• Develop & monitor new student enrollment procedures
• Review & recommend college credit registration procedures
• Review and recommend college credit registration and payment dates
• Recommend student communication practices
3. Seeks to continually improve the enrollment and registration process to provide efficient and welcoming service to students and to support the college’s strategic enrollment plan.
Committee recommendations are forwarded to the Academic & Student Affairs Council.

Information sharing item: New Department of Education Regulations now limit the transcript holds for students that have past due balances that are related to the awarding of financial aid. It was a very complex regulation and ACC decided if a student has a debt hold, regardless of whether or not it is financial aid related, we will no longer withhold their official transcript from going out. They still are not eligible to register until they satisfy their obligation to the college. This was approved by the ACC Cabinet in April 2024. It went into effect on July 1, 2024.
The primary task for our group is over a year ago the Academic and Student Affairs Council looked at the hodgepodge of the different committees and councils were doing with the Administrative Rules that govern what we all do here. We, ACC, is suppose to be on a rolling 3-year review. The committee that it is assigned to will make any changes needed and send it up to the Council to whom they report to. The Council looks at it and sends it out for review by the college and then it comes back and they approve it. Or, if no changes need to be made then the review date is updated.
A year ago an ad hoc work group from the Academic and Student Affairs Council where a few folks, including Linda Terry, we will go and look at the whole array of the college administrative rules that are related to the Academic and Student Affairs Council, organize, evaluate, and group them. Once this was complete they were assigned to the appropriate committees and subcommittees and now the administrative rules are on a 3-year review cycle.
