Revise Award History AA – adding elective HIST 2382 HIST 2382 course is not part of Core yet; cannot be added until next Spring. Tomi suggested to add to Core Restricted Elective and drop ‘Core’ and leave Restricted Elective for now…discussion about if this is a FOS degree. No solution reached; deferred award plan revision. Add NEW Course HIST 2382 African American History II (3-3-0) – using History Associate of Arts Award as option to fulfill Legislative Requirement in U.S. History and in African American/African Diaspora Studies in Interdisciplinary Studies department. HIST 2382 is not in Core so it will not fulfill requirement as a core elective in program. Department still wants to add to inventory to offer in spring 2021. Ron will include in the 20-21 Core Curriculum approval request. Ron Johns moved approval of HIST 2382 course; second by Jonathan Buckstead. Approved. Modify Courses PSYC 2314 Human Growth and Development (3-3-0) – adding topic courses: (1) Human Growth and Development: Peace and Conflict Studies, and (2) Human Growth and Development: Global Studies; adding to master course prerequisites ‘or concurrent registration with PSYC 2301’ Jorge Lynch moved approval; second by James Christianson.
