Update Advisory Committee: Reviewed program briefing, program tuition, registration updates.

Review of Business Studies Mission, Vision, and Value Statements for Business Studies division. The mission statement for business studies was questioned as to why culinary and hospitality were specifically listed and that all or none of the specific departments should be identified. Consensus to modify the statements to make it more general.

Discussion: What suggestions can be made to the Real Estate and/or Finance program that would improve their chances of success?  Students succeeding in the workforce should have entrepreneurial skills, communications, social intelligence, relationship building, how to talk to people, risk management. A vision for ACC to produce students who are consistently a higher quality product than their peers. We should build out more industry partnerships that can lead to a quick transition from school to the workforce with an accelerated path to success. Students need to hear the stories from industry professionals so that they can see the end goal.
