Using spreadsheet provided by Edward Terry, website accounts that were empty or returned 404 errors were being removed. Lara Niles asked Edward Terry for help crafting an email to website owners for websites that were inactive for removal.

Google Apps Update

Lara described to ongoing process of converting listserves to Google groups. She explained that this was a \'\'quiet move\'\' that did not require listserv subscribers to re-subscribe. She also stressed the need for more than 1 listserv owner for redundancy.
Google + may be rolling out to Google Apps for Education. A review of usage may be needed in the future at ACAC.
The g,austincc.edu and austincc.edu Google domains still need to be able to \'\'trust\'\' each other and enable connectivity.
Lara Niles is testing Google Chrome Book as an accessibility tool for Marshall Levitt . If successful, the device may be implemented where needed. http://www.google.com/chromebook/

Edward Terry has been testing open source CMSs in an attempt to gather information as which or if one of these is a viable solution for ACC\'s website. A short demonstration of what a CMS is and can do was shown. http://plone.org/products/plone/features/
Research is ongoing and updates are communicated through this committee.
