Priority Registration Updates

  • Rosalind discusses the most recent update to First Day Priority Registration. Pilot group of students for Spring 2027 semester will be limited to students with physical/mobility impairments, Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) students, and Blind/Low-Vision (BLV) students
  • Following the (successful) pilot, the hope is that Fall 2027 will bring Priority Registration for students with disabilities

  • Minutes: Sean shared that he and Meg presented at AccessU on AI for Accessibility Professionals with around 20 in person attendees with an additional online audience
  • Minutes: Sean shared that the AI implementation steering committee completed its work, presenting to the Chancellor who wants some kind of Committee (AI Trust Alliance)  Committee will move forward to manage AI implementation at ACC
  • Minutes: Sean shares that Meg and Sandy will be presenting from 1pm-2pm today (6/12) at Technology Week on “Tips and Time Savers for Accessibility” as part of the Summer Tech Week
