ACC will be a beta tester for Ellucian\'s new mobile app. We will receive software by the end of Feb. We will install, begin testing, and hopefully provide a small demo at the next WAC meeting

Edward Terry explained that the first college-wide notification the Website Redesign Project had gone out with the new Facstaff Digest. On aspect of the new site would be the \'\'Live Chat\'\' button on various pages through out the site. There was discussion of what to do if no chat agent is available. Margret Peloquin described the libraries current process in this situation.

PICM sent a \'\'FacStaff Digest which is a curated list of stories both public and internal to all faculty and staff. The email was discussed and the group was updated with the plan for frequency and other factors that go into its production. The suggestion box was pointed out which exists to allo faculty and staff to ask questions and submit content for review.

Marketing\'s redesign of the website should negate the need for a secondary knowledge base. Right Answers (AskACC) will no longer function when the new websites are released.

Lori announced that there is progress in allowing students to access CollegiateLink using their ACCeID.

Changes to CE Online Services Menu

CE students have difficulty figuring out how to use the CE registration processes. Theresa proposed changes to the CE Guest menu in Online services. Students will choose 1 of three ways to register: I have attended ACC and know my ACCeID: link to OS CE login I have attended ACC and do not know my ACCeID: link to ID manager to reset password I have never attended ACC before: link to Instant Enrollment in CE Online Services We will also add the \'\'My Textbooks\'\' link to the CE student menu. Committee approved the concept

Round Table Discussion

Discussion occurred about communicating with students and how to effectively do that. Edward Terry stated that there was a communications committee that was already having these discussions. Theresa and Lara Niles spoke to the group about recent email phishing attempts and ACCeID hijacking that has been occurring because users security question answers are too easy to guess. IT is working on changing the security questions and other enhancements to ACCeID account management to hopefully mitigate some of these attempts. The committee recommended the Information Security Officer begin a bi-weekly or monthly email to ACC faculty and staff to educate them on security issues.
