1)
Status of Spring 2010 eStaffing
Andrew Christie
Rough draft of Spring 2010 eStaffing (Phase 1) statistics provided. Very few problems reported. Instances of specific course section or faculty anomalies are being researched on an individual basis. The roll-over of MSTA appointments from Fall 2009 to Spring 2010, it was noted, should have occurred earlier than it did.
2)
Overview of Material Orders
Kathy Galaviz
A project plan is in development that will encompass process improvements, within Colleague, Online Services, and ACCeStaffing, that should provide increased safeguards, textbook flexibility, textbook version timing, and visibility to all: students, faculty, employees, and administrators.
3)
List of Modifications/Enhancements
Andrew Christie
A bug was reported that we\'ll get fixed: For Combined Course sections, departments cannot remove an instructor once he/she has been assigned. Another bug to be fixed is the \'Select All\' for instructors in the preferred sections phase. Enhancements will focus on (1) material ordering process flow, (2) MSTA process flow, (3) creating the random order assignment selection report.
4)
Discussion of Additional Modifications/Enhancement
ACCeStaffing Committee
The idea of allowing departments to enter faculty assignments in ACCeStaffing in advance of adjunct eStaffing was discussed. It would be a \'phase 0\' that occurs prior to phases 1 and 2. The committee felt that as long as this was considered a low priority and it was optional, it was okay to consider as a \'pilot project\'.
