Presenter
Andrew Christie
Minutes
One block of modifications/enhancements will be ready fot testing the first week of December. Sue, Gillian, and Glen volunteered to help with the testing.
A second phase dealing with material orders (book ordering) will also be ready for testing soon. Sue and Glen volunteered to help with the testing. Due to enhancements in phase 1, the number of new records in ACCeStaffing will be substantially reduced.
Phase 3 will deal with business practice improvements for the creation of new records in ACCeStaffing. Glen and Gillian volunteered to work with IT AppDev in developing specifications. The next highest priority enhancement in the queue is the report of random assignments.

Discussion of Other ACCeStaffing-related issues
Presenter
ACCeStaffing Committee
Minutes
An upcoming enhancement is the handling of \'\'hybrid\'\' classes in ACCeStaffing. Members of the Committee pointed out that (a) PCM is changing to ONL; (b) OPC is changing to DIL; (c) HYC is a hybrid with 50% or more of the time being set in the classroom, and (d) HYD is a hybrid with greater than 50% time being set aside as Distant Learning.
The Material Orders Enhancements will not be fully defined until Datatel\'s release of the HEA 133 solution/product.
There was a discussion of what an \'\'active\'\' adjunct is. Per the Committee: Instead of 45 days prior to the start of a class in which they are assigned to teach, it should be any time in which a future teaching assignment is present.
In further defining the co-Department Chair enhancement, it seems more appropriate to say that an \'\'Assistant Department Chair\'\' role needs to be created, and that that role should have the same access rights as the Department Chair.
