a. Admission requirement changes to include: Mandatory observation hours in a therapeutic setting increased to 20 hours; Professional references to include one reference from a supervisor. Admission requirement changes were accepted by the advisory board.
b. Course changes were reviewed and accepted by the advisory board. Changes in curriculum to include the addition of a lab component in the Neurology course and the inclusion of a preclinical review component to the fall physical disabilities fieldwork. Course changes were accepted by the advisory board.
c. Updated Field work objectives were accepted by the advisory board.
d. Fieldwork educator orientation discussed advisory board feedback was requested.
e. Level 1 fieldwork evaluation form discussed and will be revised.

Student retention, and need for commitment from current Fieldwork sites to accept students for fieldwork rotations.
a. The student retention assessment tool by Noel and Levitz was presented to the advisory board with a positive response for implementation as a positive tool to facilitate student retention.
b. A fieldwork manual for clinical educators was introduced to advisory board with request for review and posting of suggestions.
c. Discussion of hosting AOTA Fieldwork Supervisor Credentialing course at ACC.
Dean Eileen Klein will be inquiring on potential sources of funding to host this course at ACC.

Discussion on clinical assessments that would be beneficial to include in the OTA curriculum. Assessment tools discussed were: Functional mobility checklists by Mary Warren; Geriatric Depression Scales; Mini Mental Exam; Sensory Integration and Praxis and the Sensory Profile.
