Reported that our enrollment for Fall '02 is higher than for Fall '01. Possible reasons for this included special marketing emphasis and job market decline in Austin area. Lynn also reported that we will be offering 4 additional courses via Distance Learning beginning Fall '03. A discussion of current problems with Virtual College of Texas ensued. Human Services (HUSE) will continue to collaborate with Continuing Education to offer both credit and non-credit courses.

Discussed proposed changes in TACADA standards that would require all LCDCs to have a minimum of an associate degree.

It was suggested that Internship sites receive copies of our degree plans. Lynn B. reviewed the Master Plan for the College. Discussion of the upcoming referendum and items about ACC in the news ensued. There was also discussion about alternative formats for curriculum delivery (e.g. weekend college). Lynn B. will follow-up.

Revisions in the Human Services, Addictions Counseling, and Therapeutic Recreation degrees and the Therapeutic Recreation certificate were proposed. The Board voted to approve all changes.
