Billy Collins suggested training should be for credit, not non-credit; and that CODAs should be encouraged to apply. John Aintablian suggested students should have access to the Lab and classes should be consecutive; in-between training, homework or projects should be assigned. Lisa Gelineau suggested classes should be over a semester, nine months is too long.

Still continues to be half on community, half on educational interpreting.

Suggested we meet twice a year, once in the fall and again in the spring. All agreed to meet at the end of April.

Motion by Jaime Trout: Remove Introduction to Interpreting and replace it with Intralingual Skills Development for Interpreters. Seconded by Stacey Martin; motion approved. Nancy Murray did not approve of the merger between transliterating and educational interpreting. Curriculum changes for transliterating and educational Interpreting will be tabled until the spring Advisory Board meeting.

Motion by Billy Collins: Remove Logic and Ethics as a restricted elective and add Spanish I; seconded by Jamie Trout. Motion by Jaime Trout: Add Voice and Diction and Human Growth and Development to list of restricted electives; seconded by Stacey Martin. Motion by Amanda Levy: Add one credit hour Medical Terminology class to required course work and remove it as a restricted elective; seconded by Jaime Trout. John Aintablian requested that Introduction to Humanities be added as an elective. Billy Collins asked that the course description for PSYC 2314 be reviewed.
