Based on recommendations from Terry and Kathy G, IT will request the same Ellucian consultant who worked on incorporating best practices with Financial Aid to work with ACC on Degree Audit. Given the extent of requests to provide Degree-related solutions, including incorporation of the Guided Pathways initiative, it is imperative to make sure that Colleague infrastructure is in line with best practices and is well-suited to adapt to frequent changes. The desired date for the consultant would be as soon as possible after graduation on May 13.

CROA Proposal Update - Requesting ERP Comm feedback

The Business Case in support of the purchase of CROA (Colleague Reporting and Operational Analytics software) had been distributed prior to the ERP meeting. The ERP Committee was satisfied with the document and it will be submitted to the Technology Steering Committee for a decision to approve/reject. One possible change to the document was to consider whether to include a discussion about the impact on the future use of Informer. After reflection, it was determined that the same reasoning could be used to include the future use of SAS, and any other reporting software at ACC into the business case document, and that inclusion of these products detracts from the central issue of whether to purchase business intelligence software that is designed to fit our ERP system.

Imaging Software - Perceptive & Soft-Docs

At the next ERP meeting on April 11, Lexmark International will present a webinar on their Perceptive software product. Per request of the ERP Committee, Lexmark will be asked to address its integration with Colleague and electronic form submission. Per research done by IT Applications Support, Soft Docs might be the best fit for ACC's environment. A separate webinar will likely be requested from them. Meanwhile, the Soft Docs documentation that we have received will be placed in a Google folder within the ERP Committee Google group for the committee's reading and studying enjoyment. Angela mentioned that she had worked on an Imaging Software migration project at another institution and reminded us that with any migration project there is a lot of work involved. While Soft Docs was a superior product to the one they left behind, they did have to recreate all of the html forms into Soft Docs.
