Discussion: Bill proposed updates to existing Photography awards. People-Portrait award is being changed to Portrait-Wedding Specialization AAS. Three additional specializations are proposed. Discussion: Wendy Lym and Caryn Newburger discussed recent changes to the minimum entry requirements for admission to ENGL 1301. This item was approved at Academic Council on 6/4/2010. Modify: ENGL 1301 English Composition I (3-3-0) – adding non-course prerequisites Decision/Action: Gaye Lynn Scott moved to approve changes to ENGL 1301 course non-course prerequisites (COMPASS cut score). Second by James Friedrichsen. Motion approved.

Discussion: Cathy Angell presentated request to revise course capacities and to revise the Foreign Language AA to incorporate ENGL 2311. Modify: RUSS 1511 Russian I – changing cap 26 to 28 LATI 1511 Latin I – changing cap 26 to 28 Modify Award: Foreign Language AA – adding ENGL 2311 as course option Decision/Action: Jonathan Buckstead moved to approve course capacity changes and modification of the Foreign Language AA. Discussion: Norma Jacobs and Reed Peoples presented request to add lab component to ACNT 1372 Accounting Theory with no additonal fees. Revise: ARTC 2335 Portfolio Development for Graphic Design – was 3-2-4, now 3-2-3, effective 211S ARTC 2472 Pre-Certification for Graphics Arts 4-3-3 – modified course prereqs to ARTC 2405, ARTC 2413, and GRPH 1359.
