Addictions Counseling AAS – added EDUC 1300, moved Human Services Elective, deleted SPCH 1311 and SPCH 1315. Therapeutic Recreation AAS – added EDUC 1300, moved RECT 1391 and Mathematics or Life and Physical Sciences elective, added RECT 2431, and added second restricted elective. Michelle Fitzpatrick moved to accept changes to three Human Services AAS awards; second by Mary Kohls. Approved.

G. W. requested approval to add the EDUC 1300 success course to two AAS plans, and make additional edits to accommodate this change. Mary presented two new marketable skills awards and revisions to nine awards. Award revisions provided current course numbers of electives identified within each award. Footnotes were revised to remove expired courses and add new courses. David presented the Biotechnology–Level I Certificate revision. Revise Award Biotechnology – Level One Certificate Approval denied. Committee recommended this award be returned to November 13, 2015 meeting with an additional credit hour so the certificate would be eligible for Financial Aid.

George presented request for GEOL 2289 to be added to the course inventory. Add NEW Course GEOL 2289 Academic Cooperative in Geologic Research (2-2-0) Approval denied. Committee requested GEOL 2289 add form be closed and replaced with an add form for GEOL 2389. GEOL 2389 should have a petition requirement. The Geology degree plan should also be presented with GEOL 2389 included within the plan or footnotes
