Members agreed to remove Part I. ACC’s TSI Developmental Education Plan on the plan. Each department will review and edit the introduction and Part II of the plan.

Susan Hamende will make the following changes to the manual. 1. delete TMaps 2. delete TAAS 3. Page 6 - IASU change to st-IASU 4. Page 9 - Remove telephone reg. 5. Page 21 - at top....Health Sciences Admissions Office (see Referral section) There is no referral attached or mentioned. Committee approved manual with changes listed above and Susan will revise.

Yolanda was invited to the Uniform Task Force Meeting where they reviewed proposed rules regarding setting a single standard for approved TSI placement tests. Colleges and universities are to establish minimum standards for entry level classes. The college cannot impose additional testing or coursework on students who are exempt from reading, writing and/or math. Testing companies are competing to offer the official statewide test for colleges and universities. Implementation of the rule by all institutions is scheduled for August 2012.

It was suggested the rule number changed to 4.04.006-W and 4.04.006-R. 3) 4.04.021 – Anne-Marie Schlender will review and edit the rule. Changes will be reviewed in November’s meeting. 1) AR 4.05.005 – Approved with revisions. Forward to SSC. 2) AR 4.04.006 – Suggested revisions already approved by ACAC 4/15/11. 3) Split rule to 4.04.006-R and 4.04.006-W approved. Forward to SSC.

Prerequisite Class Roster changes: a. “TSI Status” will change to Placement Level b. Skill level numbers were revised to reflect what is on Datatel. Will be sent to Doug to correct on Datatel.

1. Changes to chart include: a. Remove MAPS b. Include MATD 0385 under course placement level 3. The math flowchart developed by the Math Dept. should be reflected on the placement chart.
