Common Degree Language with the goal to establish (largely) common verbiage for the introduction to award plans Ron Johns agreed to post the Common Degree Language document as a google doc for members to review and add comments. June 21 meeting will include discussion on these items: • Sub-committee Report Style Guide (handout provided by Gaye Lynn Scott) • Functions and Responsibilities • Part-time Degree Pathway/Program Maps Discussion (returned from Feb. agenda) - How will these plans be provided to students and advisors? - Will these be official """"""""program maps""""""""? If so, will we confuse students if the course progression is different? - Will these plans be published in the catalog? Or should they only be published on program web pages? - Should we ask for a reconsideration of the visual depiction of program pathways (that is, the program map) so that we can embed a part-time pathway into the map? - Will Curriculum & Programs need to approve every part-time pathway that is developed?
