Sandra discussed need for new associate of applied science in Vocational Nursing. Approval provides a seamless pipeline for students to further their professional qualifications. Committee Draft Functions, Responsibilities Update – deferred from October ASAC meeting, plan to present in November and then Shared Governance; if approved, will be implemented AY 2020-21 Action: Gaye Lynn will present recommended committee changes to ASAC. b. Advising Footnotes Style Guide Update – agreed at 10/16/19 C&P meeting, if there are more than two ‘OR’ course options, use a footnote; Office of Curriculum Development will implement catalog 2020-2021. Mojo Ticket submitted to change ‘OR’ placement in Program Maps to next line in front of second course option. c. Curriculum and Programs Checklist (by actions) Action: Postponed for discussion to future meeting. d. Introductions to Award Plans/Program Maps Style Guide (Common Degree Language) Action: Postponed for discussion to future meeting. e. Distance Education Online Programs review and approval process Action: Postponed for discussion to future meeting. f. Feasibility of equating WECM courses we already teach with ACGM Engineering courses with same learning outcomes if faculty credential issues could be resolved. Joe Brinkley discussed need for equating some workforce courses to transfer courses. Faculty would be held to higher qualification standards. Courses could be crosslisted within our schedules. 2.
