erry informed the committee that the Financial Aid Office will begin using the FA Electronic Award letter on Online Services-Web Advisor by the middle of June. Students will still continue receiving a hard copy of their FA Award letter for now, however, the Office hopes to discontinue mailing award letters by November 1st. Students can now go to Online Services and check their Financial Aid Status. “Financial Aid Status” will show the documents received and which are still missing. Students will also be able to view their award letter on “Accept or Reject My Financial Aid Award”. The student will need to ACCEPT their financial aid award so that they can receive their funds. The IT Office has been very helpful in helping the FA Office get this project going for the Fall 2010 semester.

Adult Education is trying to find a way to track AE students on Datatel. Andrew and Kathy are trying to find a solution and will report back to AE by September. AE needs to track a student’s transition starting with GED and then ESL students. AE is also restructuring their class coding to align with Datatel system.
