Interdisciplinary AAS • Remove 3 restricted electives from current degree plan. • Add DFTG 2419 to degree plan. Mechanical AAS • Remove 2 restricted electives from current degree plan. Electronic AAS • Remove DFTG 1433, DFTG 1417 and 2430 as required courses • Add requirement of DFTG 1433, or DFTG 1417, or DFTG 2430. • Add two credit hour elective (e.g. ENGR 1201, IEIR 1274, ELPT 1271, etc.). Option 1 - Convert DFTG 1491 to a 5 credit hour course with increased contact hours, or create 5 credit hour Local Needs course for DACs assessment with increased contact hours to replace DFTG 1491 in all degree plans. Justification: Ensure graduates can meet CAD needs of business and industry in the Austin area; Measure mastery of PSLO’s identified for AAS degrees – Capstone course Central component of DAC for A&E CAD program Or, Option 2- Add a 1 credit hour elective course (e.g. KINE (all), MUSI (11xxx), BUSG 1193, POFT 1127, etc.) to Architecture, Civil, Interdisciplinary, and Mechanical AAS degree.
