Instructional associate position is a part time position and is being filled by Melanie Reyes. Purpose of position is to collaborate with Dept Chair, faculty and community to develop fieldwork sites. Also this position will provide tutoring for students in the program as needed. Melanie will also serve as an Adjunct in the program.

Spring 2010 –
A.) Focus on development of non traditional clinical sites. Discussion included Yoga, Aquatics, Wellness Centers, Women Shelters and Homeless shelters and Pilates.
B.) Melanie Reyes will be finalizing the Field work Educator Link on the program website. Discussion included content and resources to support Clinical instructors and students during fieldwork.
C.) Assessment closet updates: as a response to community Feedback to assessments were purchased. Those include the Canadian Occupational Performance measure and the Allen Cognitive Level.
