Description
Student Conduct Conference Update

Student Conduct Conference set for June 2020, what started as a local university one day drive in has turned into a statewide conference. This will be the second annual Student Conduct Conference, part of the proceeds will go to a student conduct organization. The conference has the same graphic design, people have been assigned with different tasks pertaining to the organization of the conference. Planning committee is working on building up the faculty track and hopes to get higher student participation. Logistical issues at HLC are being worked out with facilities.
Committee will receive detailed information at a later date.

Additional Tranining's to be Added

Additional training's will be added for the spring mostly in Student Conduct, training's will go into depth. Student life coordinators have been trained, Patty Zuniga has been sitting in on training's to see what types of questions come up.
Possibility of a 3 minute video introducing the concepts of SRR to be added and shared by departments via BlackBoard. Compensation for adjunct who attend trainings would have to be brought up to higher ups. Possibility of adding this training to the on boarding of faculty and adjunct faculty.

Space and Conduct Discussion

A sub-committee will be created, sub-committee will discuss Student Conduct in departments. Sub-committee comprised with departments such as student life, library, and etc.
Dorado Kinney will review SRR roster to find out who is interested in being a part of the sub-committee, possibility of rollout in Feb.

Marketing Efforts

Marketing efforts for Student Rights and Responsibilities and Code of Conduct are in the works. Creating new pamphlets, posters (paper and digital), and video. Digital poster might have been added to the student app. A survey was conducted to determine if students were interested in a podcast on Student Conduct.
Update on marketing efforts to be provided at next meeting. Possibility of labeling at big events in hopes to get students informed on Student Rights Responsibilities and Code of Conduct.

Complaint Update

Guidelines and procedures for non-grade related academic student complaints has been passed by ASAC. Changes cannot be made due to the passing of the guidelines, rollout has not been discussed. Committee is still unaware of who will be conducting trainings for this new guideline.
Committee to share update with their departments. Student Compliant procedures can be found on the ACC website.

Clery Overview Training Video

Training video covering a basic understanding of clery compliance. Hopes are to get this video to be a part of the employee required trainings. Website is in development with HR, SRR members in attendance will receive PD credit for their participation.
Committee will receive PD credit for training video and quiz that was given during meeting.

Higher ups putting a committee together to discuss minors on campus, invitations for committee have not been sent out.
Dorado Kinney will review the possibility of purchasing a training video regarding minors on campus.
