IT has been working on complying with HB133 and HB2504. This new state legislation requires that the College provide textbook ordering online as well syllabi information that must be provided for students. There are other web requirements that are also tied to this legislation.
• Cleaning up institutional file data- IT and Admissions have been working together the last six months trying to clean up records.
• IT has also been working on the Advising piece for Web Advisor.
• Online orientation was initiated in the IRT department. IT will be checking with IRT since it is created by IDS.
• Intrinsic informer is a new reporting tool that went live. Training will be arranged, however, it is tied to Unidata licensing.
• E-staffing is working well.

The Business Office had over 13,000 students use the installment plan for the fall semester. 71% of the students did this online and 29% went to the campus. The Business Office stated that there were system problems reported on August 6 dealing with connectivity issues with Touchnet. Students were dropped and Admissions had to assist in putting students back in class.
Datatel consultants will be coming to ACC in October to work on archiving records.

Student types are disappearing on the system. Students register and then they don’t have a student type.
CE gets requests for assistance with conference registration from other departments. The problem then is that these registrants get coded as CE students when they really are not. Is there a fix for this? Student recruitment uses a system for their different events, so CE will be checking with Patty Salazar in Enrollment Management.

The new RR Campus received SACS accreditation.
Data warehousing has a new SAS portal site. Interactive reports will be housed in this portal site. Examples: Grade reports, grade distribution by course, by semester, etc…
The user access control will be the user ID and password that will be assigned by OIEA.

Admissions is hoping to have the capability of accepting electronic high school transcripts before the end of the fall semester. They have been working with IT on this project.
• Admissions Office is moving from paper mailers to the ACC student email messaging system. Hold mailers and grade mailer information will be sent via student email.
• IT is working on record retention up to two years .
• SEVIS recertification – This is a federal report on international students. The Datatel patch process does not work.
• CIP codes have changed for certain programs with the Coordinating Board. Admissions Office has been working with OIEA especially in the Health Sciences areas.
• Linda will be getting a committee together to discuss the Add-A-Person process. The goal is to standardize the process so all departments are doing the same thing and correct.
