Learning Labs - \'\'Deep Freeze Service\'\'
Presenter

Minutes
Jim described a service that will be available at all ACC Learning Labs and permits greater flexibility in the use of the labs’ computers. Prior to the use of Deep Freeze, the labs computers could only be used for the software installed in the labs’ computers. Students and faculty can now use other software, flash drives, and information from internet sites to complete assignments. When the user is done, Deep Freeze returns the labs’ computers to their original configurations as needed by the lab.

Website Access to Student Workshops?
Presenter
Carol Townsend
Minutes
Carol asked the question if there is or could be a website that would list all workshops by departments that are available to students. At this point one does not exist. IRT is working on it and Student Life suggested developing applications for such a website that would be convenient for students to access.
One suggestion was that the app would be a good project for someone in the ACC Leadership Academy. Richard will contact Brian Smith, SASC
Marketing representative, to get his input and suggestions. A method of communicating the information to students is needed.
