HR has been busy working on meeting SACS compliance and rosters. NEMP is a new HR screen. HR is waiting to get guidelines from PLT before it goes public.

A subcommittee will be reviewing DREG process. Kathy Galaviz is coordinating this effort to simplify and review entire process. IT now has all the specs that are needed and have assigned a programmer to work on it. The intent is to have a faster more efficient process in place.

IT programmers are working on various requests such as Magnus, Online withdrawals, emergency alert, wait listing, financial aid updates, online nursing application, college connection request to interface with high schools. SACS compliance requests are considered priority.
IT is meeting every other Friday to discuss degree audit project.
OIEA needs degree audit capability by locations and programs offered at the locations. OIEA may need to purchase other software if IT is not able to get information that is required for SACS.

Clint spoke with Counseling Task Force about XTOV screen and changes due to new testing requirements. No further action will be taken until new testing requirements are understood.

ACC is revamping all websites. Ed Terry is responsible for all templates.
Online withdrawal system is working well.

Google Plus is live. Staff will need to sign up to get it.
IT has a tool that sends a report of all documents that are shared internally and externally. IT sends emails alerting staff. Some staff are not aware that their documents are being shared to public.

August 1 students will be able to complete online application. AE wants to use their own application instead of using the credit side application.

TouchNet upgrade happened on February 21.
There are batch processing problems so Business Office is talking to TouchNet about reducing time to process. Upgrade was successful with minimal glitches. Payment plan features are a plus and the capability to send email to students as needed is also good.

OIEA is working on SACS compliance rosters and the certification process. Deadline for submission is March 15.

There was discussion about the need for IT to provide training on how to use Datatel and the screens. There needs to be more professional development opportunities for new staff. A subcommittee chaired by Theresa Harkins will review the needs and propose a training solution. The committee volunteers are: Connie Wall, Marie Fofi, Cheryl Coe, Andrew Christie, Susan Gusler, Clint Rodenfels, Rosie Juarez and Bobetta Burns.
