a. ACAC approved 11/7/14: Moved forward to Presidents office but not on the web at this time.

o Yolanda to update TSI Course List prior to presenting @SSC.

1. Announcements
a. Cut Scores: To be phased in 2017; top number to increase per state coordinating board.
b. Placement Test: Compass test for ESOL and advanced Math placement is being upgraded. Process holder is re commending that.
c. TSI Diagnostic scores: Diagnostic scores are now being downloaded to Datatel. We will not be able to download diagnostic scores prior to February 2015.
o David will determine if scores are on Degree Map and online services.
Advising listserv: David will add committee members

Placement chart changes.
o Julie to present changes, after meeting w/her task force, at next AAC meeting.
• DEVW Writing – Caryn Newburger
No anticipated changes in the writing placement chart
• MATD Math – Carolynn Reed
Placement chart changes.
o Carolynn to present changes, after meeting w/her task force, at next AAC meeting.
Basic Math (0330) will convert to MATD 0332 Fall 2015.
MATD 0332 will require at least C or better in DEVR 0300
o Same wording as DEVW’s placement chart
• ESOL – Farrah Keeler
Partial testing created challenges. Partial testing w/ESOL department approval ONLY. Updated referral slip will reflect this.
o Betsy to update referral slip and send to committee for approval before forwarding to campuses.
Referral procedures to be developed by ESOL task force.
o Farrah to present procedures at next AAC meeting
