Mission and Purpose
The purpose of the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Austin Community College is to prepare students for entry-level practice as occupational therapy assistants in a variety of traditional and non-traditional settings. Through formal classroom instruction, experiential laboratory learning, and clinical fieldwork experience, our students are prepared to meet the entry-level job demands of a rapidly growing healthcare profession.
